Tiffany is a 20-year old singe mother and is the only person in her family that works. My company, Briggs & Associates, assist people with disabilities in finding employment. Table 8...
Thank you, Buckhead Church, for helping us to give up Christmas and gain new friends! We were table 8 , Sean, Lisa, Carisa, Shelley, Jane, Kathy, and Toni, plus 2 more lovely ladies who had to leave before we won our big bucks!
After earning our $10 per person, we all pitched in until we had a total of $160. Everyone offered suggestions on what we could do with the money, and after thoughtful discussion...
Stand up for Kids...
We at table 54 decided to donate $100 to “Stand Up for Kids”, and organization that assists runaways & throwaway kids who are homeless. This very worthy organization is in need of more volunteers! Recently a downtown building was donated to them and is nearly finished being renovated, but because of the lack of trained volunteers (training & background checks are mandatory), they can...
Money Wise...
The ten of us at Table #29 at North Point’s Giving Up Christmas program apparently didn’t know a lot of Christmas trivia but we all had big hearts and a willingness to give. We tripled the amount North Point entrusted to us. Through a connection with the Money Wise outreach at North Point, we decided to donate our money to one of the women being counseled by our Money Wise representative. ...
Kare for Kids...
We had such a great time at Giving Up Christmas!! Even better, we were able to help a local family purchase gifts for their children this Christmas season. Our entire table combined our money totaling $100 and donated it to Kare for Kids. A Fusion experience...
Our table donated our money to a family that is in great need this year. We found out about their needs when my Fusion group delivered Thanksgiving to them. When we arrived they were heating their home by keeping the oven door open. This family of 4 children and a mom have medical bills and other financial and emotional hardships this year.
We went to Target and bought new winter clothes for each of...
Helping a Needy Family...
Our table (#36) divided the money between 4 people (4 had to leave early) so we each decided to give in our own unique way. I was given $10 to give away. I added another $10 to that and gave an anonymous donation to go into a fund to bless a needy family at my school. What a blessing to be able to give. Thanks for the opportunity!
God’s true love...
This letter is from one of the families we were able to help at table 17. With the monies we “won” and the money we added to the pot, we were able to split it and help 2 families equally with $135.
Christy is a girl I worked with. She has 4 children, 3 under 10. Her husband had been laid off about a month ago and they have been in financial hardships.

Christmas Wish Lists...
There are many people at North Point Community Church that are friends with Eileen and Jason Tamblyn or have heard about Eileen’s recent tragic story through friends or friends of friends. If you have not heard her story, here is the short version.
Last month what began as a normal workout routine landed Eileen in the hospital due to a painful bump on her leg. She developed a very rare disease...
Single Mom...
I gave my money to someone at my table who was helping out a single mom and her children to make ends meet this holiday season. I feel that it was money well spent.
