Carolyn and I from Table 94 (Buckhead) decided to help a couple of kids celebrate Christmas a little earlier this year. We went across the street to Toys R’ Us and picked up a few goodies before heading out across town. This beautiful family came to Atlanta as refugees from Iraq. With a 4-year-old, 7-month-old, and a wife in chemo fighting leukemia, we wanted to take a small treat to lighten the load off of this young father’s shoulders.
We also found out from a friend who introduced us to the family that all the dollars spent, miles driven, and time taken to visit with this family will be met dollar for dollar by our government to further support and aid this family.
What an unexpected and amazing Saturday afternoon!!! Thank you NPM for your heart to connect our church body to our community.

Esther…what an amazing thing you guys have done here. Jesus himself prioritized the widows, the orphans and the refugees. I can see the joy on YOUR faces!
That is sooo great! Thanks for posting the pictures! What an incredible ministry opportunity to this family.
