A Family of 8
A Family of 8
We used the $35 and added to it ourselves and with pledges from friends to provide a family of 8 with a stroller for a 5 month old, a $35 gift card for food or whatever at a Wal-Mart Supercenter, and one week’s rent in a weekly hotel in Marietta. We experienced God yesterday. Thank you Buckhead...
Family from Iraq
Family from Iraq
The family I took the gifts to is a refugee family from Iraq.  They probably were involved with helping some US governmental people or soldiers over there and had to leave because they were no longer welcome for helping us - that’s generally why we get Iraqi refugees from what I understand. I...

Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots
Our group split our money in half.  Part of the money was used to buy toys for Toys for Tots.  The other part went to buy toys for children at Egleston.  We told the store manager at Wal-mart what we were doing and he gave us a $25 gift card to add to our money!  Thanks for the opportunity!

Stirred Up
Stirred Up
We were table #16.  A few of the people at our table wanted to use the money for individual needs they knew of.  The rest of us decided to pool our money ($100) and do something with it as a group.  We chose to donate it to Stirred Up Ministries.  www.stirred-up.org A few of us (Micheal, Carissa,...
